I’m amazed that I still enjoy sitting with a piece of sheet music and learning something new after all of these years. Sharing that newly discovered and old school knowledge is also something that brings joy, shares enthusiasm, and broadens horizons. A few years ago, I took a detour as a storytelling-for-business strategist where I wrote scripts and produced animations used for corporate training, assessment, and evaluation. And I enjoyed the creative outlet that it offered. But, something was missing. It was the sheet music. Now, I’ve been fortunate in my career. The guitar has taken me from my hometown in Queens, NY, to the musical Mecca of Boston’s Berklee College of Music to four continents, dozens of countries, and countless cities. And ultimately, the Andes Mountains, where I currently have made my home. As a guitar instructor, I’ve sat in front of hopeful and eager students from the ages of 6 to 60. I’ve also taught seminars and workshops to hundreds of experienced players and felt the enchantment of being a university professor. And, I look forward to working with you.
